I'm also looking at the Paradigm Prestige 75f speakers, but I can't go and hear them until my dealer reopens because the province of Ontario is still in Covid shutdown. All stores are closed except for online shopping and curbside pickup. I can't buy anything without hearing it first, which is why I was hesitant about the Omi company in New York, it would cost an extra $200 to ship and return from Canada, if I don't like them plus there is a 3-4 month wait list for them to be produced.

John is the man. I took a pair of ohm 2s to make them super 2s a while back ..Pre covid days. He opened his business for me the wife and 2 year old as I thought he was opened on Saturdays . We spoke for a while and heard some of his new speakers including the monstrous 5 while a cute cat rubbed his nose on it. I have tinkered around with speakers for a while like we all do here, usually vintage Klipsch and B & W, Rogers and have kept only the Ohms and some ESS'. He gave me a great deal as I traded a an old C+ ohm speaker for the Super 2.0 upgrade. Not to long ago I got the Ohm i(eye) and I called him for some grills(CAT RESISTANT) , in the beginning of covid and they did take a while , but i did receive weekly updates from Evan or John.
For me and my ears, the OHM does it!
By the way, I bought the Ohm C+ while stationed in Edmonton so check your kijijij(craigs) or whatever its called , i forget.

But I can not buy speakers without listening to them. So I have decided to get speakers made in Canada by Paradigm, after lockdown I will go to my audio store and listen.
Couldn't agree with you more. While we were open for a while last fall I auditioned a pair of Prestige 75 f's in Newmarket. They sounded really nice but unfortunately they are no match for my 37 year old Walsh 4's (re-foamed 23 years ago). So if you wish to audition some Ohm's take a drive to Aurora.

Thank you UncleAng for the offer of a road trip...which I would thoroughly enjoy right about now, just to get out of the house. I can only imagine the hardships your business has endured this past year and I sincerely hope you can bounce back. But, by next week when the stores here open again, I'm going to go and have a listen to some Paradigms floor-standers. I want to support my local audio store, which has had a horrendous year like most small businesses. I believe the only thing that has kept my local shop afloat are the A/V installations for all the folks stuck at home watching surround sound TV in dedicated theatre-rooms.
Again, thanks to all in this thread, for their insight good/bad on the Ohm speakers.

1st of all, I try not to reply to posts that are this old.
That said, I respectfully offer a different statement based on direct experience.
@nolasally, you stated above that “These individuals likely never heard an Original Walsh product which would be a Walsh F or A speaker system. ”.
John Strohbeen was an equal partner in TechHifi back in the 70’s when both the Ohm A and the Ohm F were 1st introduced. He was a key player in securing Lincoln Walsh’s design in creating these iconic speakers.
Note: I am aware of the various opinions on whether or not this was a true Walsh design. I will leave that to another post!
My response above is solely focused on the statement of awareness (or lack thereof) by the current owners of Ohm Acoustics.
Finally, having the opportunity back in the day to compare Ohm products to other well known manufacturers and have sold many of their products over an extended period of time, @Mister Bill is spot on in that one has to listen (and compare where practical) one set of speakers to another.
