OK to use 4 OHM speakers with Pioneer SX-535 and/or Marantz 2226B?

Looking at a pair of vintage Advent Small Loudspeakers - which are 4 ohm. Is this ok to use with the Pioneer SX-535 and the Marantz 2226B? Just thought I'd check with the forum experts.

Those receivers will work fine with 4 ohm speakers, just don't crank it up for long periods of time (especially with loudness and/or bass jacked up).

But at reasonable listening levels you should be fine.

I use a pair of Smaller Advents with my SX-535 and it is an amazing combination. Smaller Advents were deigned to be used with low powered receivers like these and they really do perform incredibly well with them.
