OLD 4 Track information wanted please

My dad has an old 4 Track Player Telepro Industries
Satellite II model 79-1..
Can you give me some information and price information.
I can't find one online to compare.

Very early home player for playback of 4-track cartridges, the predecessor of the 8 track. TelePro was well known on the east coast, but most of the early 4 track music biz was on the west coast, jump started by Earl "Madman" Muntz.

TelePro owned a lot of the early patents for endless loop cartridges, but their big success was in broadcast use, not consumer. And, they began as TelePrompTer Corporation (you can look that up). Very cool old piece from roughly the late '50s - early '60s.

Thanks. It is the levers that confuse me and others.
Can you shed some light on that? Was it just an old school way of loading it?

I am going to sell it, I just can't understand the levers and its driven me 6hrs of insanity and research.

To the best of my knowledge: One lever raises the pinch roller (inside the unit) into place within the cartridge. The other lever moves the head from track one to track two.
