Parts Express Tower Speakers Kits

Have you ever built a tower speaker kit from Parts Express? I'm kinda looking into it right now. If you did, do you like them? What's your favorite?

No experience with them, but I like the idea of the transmission line one that has the two 5-1/4" woofers.

You think that will go sufficiently low enough? My listening room is only about 12'x15'. Maybe? Something like that.

I’ve not built one of their kits, bit have used their flat pack cabinets multiple times and they are high quality.

I've heard a few at DIY gatherings over the years. Curt Campbell's TriTrix is really good for the price. Pretty much anything Curt designs is going to be better than a finished speaker at the same price point. Sweat equity at it's finest!

That's the one! A pair popped up at the annual gathering here in Iowa a few years ago. I don't remember if it was the same year Curt was given a lifetime achievement award, but I was lucky enough to get that on camera.

I assembled and veneered a pair of bookshelf speaker kit from PE for a friend. The C-Notes. The fit of the CNC machined panels were tight and the crossover looked to have good parts included with a circuit board too. I only deviated from the kit by using dowels glued between the baffle front and back panel to stiffen it some.
I really liked their sound from the limited time with them before shipping them off to my buddy. That of course can vary with all the variety of kits PE has.
