Picked up an SX-780

I bought this one from the original owner. Sounds wonderful, looks wonderful, just needs a good cleaning. Owner said he bought it new when he was 16, has never been opened up or serviced.

You're fortunate in that there is extensive support here for the 780/790. I have half a dozen of those and have serviced some more for other owners. I have have seen all manner of malady, and all the common issues, lust like lots of other members here. I suspect you'll get lots of tips, suggestions, and ideas once you get into cleaning and refreshing.

It is a solid unit for a middle-tier model.

I would think the 780 was the top selling in numbers. I remember a friend had one, we rocked on with it many times. Built to last years
