Pics of your listening space

As if I didn't need more reasons to be happy here at AK, another fan of Babylon 5 and sci fi. When my boys were pre-school, my wife worked the evening shift, and often didn't get home until after 1:00 a.m. I would keep the boys up with me watching taped episodes of Star Trek, TNG, so they would sleep in for my wife. They have both become fans of sci fi.

Regards,

D-Ray

I remember when I was younger my parents would order pizza and we would watch TNG together. I am working on watching the original Star Trek right now. (streaming it off of Netflix on my 360 hooked up to my projector)

d-ray, x_25, bre's dad, Reel 2 Reel, Maxx, kbott... Do you think it's a thing, audio enthusiasts also potentially being sci-fi fans? I don't actually know any other sci-fi fans who aren't at least a little into well-reproduced sound...

Anyway, Yeah. TNG is the ****. So is TOS (I've got two episodes to go!). DS9 was lots of fun, though not quite up to the standards of the previous series, and Voyager was just outstanding. I haven't seen any Enterprise yet.

Any love out there for Stargate SG-1/Atlantis? Firefly? Andromeda?

Wow, Gio! Sharp-looking rigs! I'll bet they sound fantastic! What is that brown turntable on the right of the first pic? Thorens?

Voyager was good, as was DS9 (we would watch that as a family too) but the few episodes of Enterprise I have seen were so so at best.

Now, as far as audio and Sci-Fi? I think audio is a logical step from where I came from. I started with computers (at the age of 2) moved on to video games (at 3 or 4 I got a game boy), I enjoy movies and music also, so a good system is a must for that, especially to compliment my 90" TV. :D

Okay this is my first post, here's my space. I own a Philips 202 made in Holland, amplifier and speakers are from national brands (i live in Argentina)
Iam waiting my Shure m97xe from USA to start listening my stuff :D
Iam also a noob in vintage audio, get all this things for free, except for the cartridge...

I wanna thank you all people of AudioKarma for the help that you gave me!!! Specially at the chat room :thmbsp:
