Pics of your listening space

Budget???

Looks pretty darn nice to me!

Looks pretty great from herre too Art. :tresbon:

Thanks guys.

Like the cabinet... Salamander?

Studio Tech. Very, very heavy and spiked to the subfloor. Each shelf can be isolated with a special spike fixture. For those who prefer other footing, I also have both a set of soft feet and casters. I bought this at a good price as a demo at a HiFi dealer in Eugene.

The whole system was very cost effective. The fronts are Wharfedale Diamond 9.1's which I bought for $229 per pair. The center is a spare Diamond 9.1 and was free...(long story). The rears are Diamond 9.0's and were $99 per pair. The sub is a Hsu Research STF2 (S349) which performs wonderfully, used only for HT. The AVR is a Yamaha RX-V657 ($400 brand new), the first AVR to review well in any HiFi (non HT) publication. I just added the NAD C326BEE ($399 refurb with warranty) to run the fronts and to do 2 channel duty in the living room (it's a secondary setup as the reference 2 channel rig is in my home office). The weak link is the Panny BD player. It works beautifully for HT but ain't too good for 2 channel audio, though better than the Oppo universal player I used to have.

I'm going minimalist.

Judging by the tilt of the speakers you're not sitting on the floor in the lotus...

Is this part of your moving things around of late?

Yep. Bought a new home, meeting with a contractor about accessibility mods before we move in.

Viewed all 503 pages, and am astonished at how many times the phrase "my wife told me they had to go" , or " she wouldn't let me, etc."
