Its very good!,clear vinyl with nothing on the label but white, its a reissue, looks like an old bootleg. I'd like to get volume two soon as well, it is more psychedelic

I have many Pebbles titles on tape from many years ago. If you like that one, seek out the others, you won't be sorry. I recognized the unique edition you had and it piqued my interest.

Considering I flip burgers for a living this setup is all I can afford for the time being. I really enjoy it and think I got the best bang for my buck. I got my sansui for three dollars at the thrift store! I consider my guitar audio as well!

*I didn't measure the cabinet before buying at the thrift store so nothing fits inside. It still serves its purpose though.

*having trouble finding affordable speakers stands and do not have the tools to make some sadly.

Thought I'd show some records I have been listening to lately.

Nothing to apologize there. I used to flip burgers and when I did, I didn't have nearly the setup you do. Mine was a Panasonic all-in-one, and the turntable had a ceramic cart on it. Blah! The 661 is a nice little receiver..I've had the 551 and 771 that flank it in the lineup.

Did some moving around and sold some gear. Also bought new furniture and bought a new stand to match. Here's the new upstairs system. Maybe not as fancy as what it replaces but its simpler and more important... higher WAF! Still need to clean up & hide cabling but one thing at a time.

Agreed! A $20 Craigslist end table (or $10 Ikea Lack side table for that matter) would go a long way towards making your turntable sound better. Get that TT on a proper table, and level that platter, stat! I fear for your stylus and SME arm.

Rob your gear is some of the sweetest stuff I've seen in a students room. It does deserve to be properly setup (and pictured) as others have already pointed out.

Those speakers are the Experience V20 from Visaton.

Earlier I built the Cheap trick 142 and I was really impressed by the small thing for that little money
so I decided to build a 3 way better one. Even though I’m not a carpenter it was not a big deal
to build them and the price was still reasonable for me.
If you are interested I have some pictures of construction.
I can put them to DIY topic with some more details.

I used to run my speakers with Technics SU-C 800U + SE-A 800S.
A month ago I found the KA1100D for a ridiculous 18000 HUF (USD 90,-).

Well, Technics was fine but this „tank” is AWESOME.
25 years old, it suffers from scratchy pots and switches but BOY WHAT A DIFFERENCE in sound! On ANY volume level.
