Pics of your listening space

Fun! is this an attic space?.....You need to get some better chairs or maybe a big old sofa. Great space. :thmbsp:

Yea that is an attic space and I can`t get a sofa up there . I am looking for a futon and some more comfy chairs that I can fit up the tight stairway .

.....Butch, what does that dome effect of the rugs do for what you get from your speakers?....it appears
you've got grounds to claim a somewhat anechoic chamber.....

The acoustics seem really good but I have been so busy that I have not had much time to sit and listen .

Nice! The XPA-1 on the right-hand may need some breathing room, no?

Thanks!!!

The turntable is on risers so there is breathing room. However, neither of them get even a bit warm.

I will have another XPA-1 for my center channel and an XPA-2 coming in a couple months and they will be stacked directly on the twp XPA-1's. BTW, I just sold my XPA-5 (seen inside my cabinet with the five lights) so I am completely 2-channel right now. ;)

That will tide me over before I upgrade to McIntosh amps (probably MC501x3 and MC402 :music: ) within the next two years.

Polk SDA 1C's for most listening. Cerwin Vega AT-15's facing the rest of the room if I just want to listen loud and fill up the room. I don't play both at the same time. My audio shelf (an awesome ikea rack that is the perfect width for audio gear) has a rack mount power strip, QSC GX3 amplifier, Sony CDP-C715 CD Player (soon to be upgraded), and Sony DVP-C660 DVD Player. On the top is a Behringer Xenyx 502 mixer (used as a preamplifier for vol.) and a Radioshack source switcher. The whole room is 1300 sq. ft., it is a giant finished attic shaped like a "T". The SDA's and equipment's shelf are in the left top part.

Super cool! Envious of your wood-fired heater. Nothing better than to watch some pyro-entertainment while listening.

My humble space..

One more of the Frieds a little closer..

Very nice, those speakers are cool:yes:...looks clean and organized, ond day i'll have a "seamless" setup like that one I tell myself:D.

Neat stuff on the wall as well, not just The Zep poster, i'm seeing Rush 2112, maybe a uriah heep album on display(demons and wizards?), and what appears to be Kansas's "Left overture"...all good tunes and great covers:thmbsp:

Thanks 33!! That album wall art was made by my wife! It is like a 3D collage of album covers that a friend gave us. All of the vinyl was trashed of course so we made use of it!

I have plenty of equipment but unfortunately my space is very limited in this small dorm. But in may I am getting an apartment so that will be much better.

blhagstrom. I gotta pair of these for $10...needed 1 woofer. I bought 4 for $25, from Dave from Planet10...in Victoria. He delivered them, when he was down in the Valley.

Well...my listening space doesn't change just my components LOL!!! I have to wait till I finish my basement...if I wasn't such a procrastinator this winter it might have been done :D

Oh well...soon there will be another setup to play around with and waste my time more

To keep tranquility and order in the household most of it is stuffed in the closet.
