Rob just beautiful stands! :yes::thmbsp:
Have you thought about buying Pioneer emblems with the tuning fork/Ohm sign and silicone them to the fronts?
I think that would be a nice accent as if they were legit Pioneer stands.
I could also understand if you left them just the way they are too.
A nice touch!Ya Im gonna think about making a small Pioneer plate/plaque for them. :scratch2:
originally posted by Copa1934 Good grief, those 200's are monstrous! I have early 100's and seeing those 200w units on top and looking smallish, yikes. Are they, 200, as nice as many owners say they are? I really enjoy my 100's but those 200's are impressive.

Cool. Those are the 100 watt versions..
You need to lift them up off the floor about 10".
My stands (like these) should be ready this week.

btw, put a peice of masking tape ontop of the pushed in cone, and slowly try and take it out.

Rob,
I own HPM-100 since 1980, and recently finished modifications ( Replaced and upgraded all capacitors , resistors , internal wirings , binding posts ).
Can you give a schematic drawing of these stands with dimensions ? I wish to have them made here locally in India .
BTW , your pair looks so minty , nothing short of a new one , I just regret why I did not take good care of my pair .
I will now try to finish the wood surface with some cleaner and wood wax ,hope it results in slightly better look.
But my pair now with mods done sounds great !
Thanks Rob. .Hi, I dont have any schematics on the stands... but here's the dimensions on them:
- 10" tall
- 15 3/8" wide
- 15 1/2" deep
It's basically the same dimensions as the cabinets.
They weigh in at about 30 lbs !
Thanks Rob. .
Can you just also say what is the thickness of two boards ( left and right ) and thickness of the central connecting board ? My guess is 3 inches and 1 inch respectively !But your info will sure help .
Thanks again , and also for starting this thread which I am sure the HPM-100 owners can look up for info with pride.
Here's Pognoot's HPM-100s. I'd say there a 9 out of 10 with a couple of minor marks in the veneer, but who's looking. The front baffles have never been repainted. I've notice some people doing that, but I haven't. The crossovers have been recapped. Of course, the physical design is vintage 1970s at its finest.
