Pioneer PL-12R or Pioneer PL-600

I want one of these vintage second hand TT, but no idea in the aspecs wich is better. What do you guys recomend me?

That PL600 is a belt drive and its meh ... , the original PL 600 was a much better quartz direct drive.

The specs may say otherwise but the PL 12 is better in my opinion. It was a good entry level table in its day. It is a spring suspended belt drive. That suspension could need some work but not hard to do. I like headshells on it better too. Plus it has a built in overhang gauge.

If the cost is the same or close then I go with PL 12. It would be interesting to know what cartridges are on them, if any. Sometimes the cartridge makes the deal.
 
I'm getting the PL-12 for like 25$ here in my country (Brazil). In USA is more expensive tho.

Nice price, especially if it is working. If the Ortofon cartridge from the picture is on it you are really getting a nice deal.
