Pioneer SA-100 DIN Plug

Hi all,

Does anyone know the pin designation setup for the Pioneer SA-1000. Which pins are R&L record in and R&L record out?

The normal designation for a 5 pin din socket on an amplifier is as follows:
Pin 1 Left out
Pin 2 Ground
Pin 3 Left in
Pin 4 Right out
Pin 5 Right in
Outer ring Ground

When looking at the socket, the pins run 1-4-2-5-3

My bad. The title of this thread should read, "Pioneer SA-1000..." Dropped one of the 0's.

Thank you for the info. I want to have a custom DIN to DIN cable made. Page 25 of my Akai M8 manual describes the pin layout in very good detail. But my Pioneer manual does not. Your info is very helpful. Thank you very much.
