Then I would trust the service manual and owner's manual specifications, neither of which mention power at 4 Ohms. It would likely put out more power into 4 Ohms than into 8, depending where the power supply poops out and it begins clipping. I suspect it would run very hot into 4 Ohms playing at a moderate level due to the compact size.

I found this model here. The only thing that stops me to take it is that it cannot play A + B set of speakers at the same time...
