Pioneer SX 580 - Left Channel

I do not know if I have a big issue or not. The left channel can barely be heard - with speakers or headphones. Any thoughts are appreciated!

In a LOT of cases, the TAPE, LOUDNESS, and function switches are responsible for channel drop/loss.

I spent a lot of time cleaning - de oxing,. After some troubleshooting, I figured out that the left channel "Darlington Powerpack" has gone bad. I ordered new ones for both sides.

I found a supplier on eBay called "bpelectronic". I will let you know how this turns out.

Looks like the usual fakes to me. Guess we’ll see how it turns out.

Well - it's all I could find, so I'll have to try them. It could have been "fakes" in there already - just don't know.

The new power packs arrived. Installed them, and it sounds AMAZING. I have no idea how long they will last, but it solved the issue. Hey, for $24 bucks - I'll take it!!

hi everybody,
ı have the sama problem with my sx580 ,left channel on high volume makes distortion, l cleaned all the switches but nothing worked, the same time , fm section after switch on. it blinks thefm bulb, some broadcast and in a second it goes off, l couldnt understand the reason why it goes off everytime
any help would beappreciated
