PL-120 tt

[rmunson]

Hi Guys -
a friend of mine has a PL-120 he'd like to sell me -- I can't find any info on this TT here in the Pioneer forum --

can anyone point me to anything? Pics? Specs?

Was this a entry level or mid level TT?

Thanks,
Reed

Here is the PL-120 from a 1981 German catalog, and the PL-2 from a 1981 catalog. I believe they are the same.

Googling will turn up lots of info on this.

NOTE: Because of the way the "D" is styled, a good share of the time the Pioneer PL-12D is misidentifed as the PL-120.

Also, both the PL-120 and PL-2 are in the Pioneer Component Database.

I'd be willing to bet that Fred is right--that it's actually a PL-12D.

Perhaps. A photo of the PL-12D is already posted.
