Polk Montitor tweeters

Should I replace the silver dome tweeters in my Polk Monitor 10b's for peerless? Do they sound that much better?

Yes, they sound MUCH better and are far less fatiguing.

Yes! Well sort of. The aluminum dome tweeter models were not well received on the Polks. Do not just drop in replacements however, there may be minor crossover modifications necessary to match the Peerless, or ideally, the RDO-194 tweeters available from Polk to this day. A bit of extra research will reveal your model and what may be necessary to replace the tweeter.

I recapped my 10B's and that really was a great move. The detail was much better and clearer. Highly recommend. I will add, I have not had issues with the silver dome tweets. But that's just me I guess
