Seems to be a common theme here. Buy this substandard equipment (Rega RP1...495...and then spend a lot of money modifying it...upgrade kit 195.00...outboard power supply...395...). From what I have read, the outboard powersupply is less stable than the project speedbox...
I'd go with the DCM TF-600. No need to modify and they sound great!
If the DCM TF-600s were "properly modified" would they then then blow away the polks?

get the DCM TF-600 if they are in perfect condittion. The polks have nothing on these
The DCM have two 45 degree angle rear firing tweeters per speaker as welll as a rear firing bass port (they are line transmission speakers.).
They blow my DCM TF-400s away.
