Possibly a rare Sansui accessory?

Picked this up not knowing if it was really a Sansui, but it is.

Had to be quick to grab this one. Who knows, maybe they are everywhere?

What say you?

I remember seeing that once. When I bought my Sansui TU-9500 there was a dipole antenna packaged just like that in the bottom of the box. I ripped it open to use the antenna and threw the bag away.

COOL! The NIB/bag is the cool part. What is inside is everywhere.

Hardly. Notice the "Sansui" logo cast into the center T-divider?

Yup, just an FM dipole antenna. Cool bag though.

With a cast-in "Sansui" logo.

I have the kit for the 1000A in an opened bag - FM T-bar antenna, AM wire antenna, and the console mounting J-bolts. I'm pretty sure Bluesky said it was the only one he'd seen with the bag, and the antennas themselves are pretty rare.

Well, it's not just any dipole antenna. It is labeled Sansui. You had to buy a Sansui to get one of these.
More uncommon than the bag. I now have two bags.

One of the few instances where the contents are worth more than the original packaging... Taken together, good find :)

I'm blind.

The blue wire is an AM antenna, i think, i own one and it is writen AM on the package,

The other "T" antenna is a FM 300 ohms antenna, i have this one too.

The blue one is AM. I already had a blue one in a bag labeled AM, in a bag labeled FM. This one has both bags as well.

And yes, Bluesky may be blue. Especially if he sees what I paid.

VERY hard to find.

To find brand new one, or 'like new' Sansui FM antenna... pretty impossible.

Real nice find !! :)

On eBay? How much??

Yup, Ebay. I saw it shortly after it was listed. It was listed like all the generic FM dipole antennas, so I wasn't sure if it was a new antenna stuck in the bag or a genuine Sansui.

Oh, $3.99 BIN $2.99 shipping. Not too bad.

$7.00 !! You really scored big time! Very impressive!!

You just can't find them anymore and if you do they are all trashed. I've looked for a new one, or a like new one, for over 8 years and finally just gave up... probably gave up 2 days before your saw the eBay post for yours! LOL. :)

Usually when you do see a 'good one', which is very rare, it's being sold 'with' an old receiver. The seller just don't know how 'rare' they are now-a-days and just sell them with an old receiver as a freebee.

I think it's worth $50. Honestly. Brand new! Yeah, $50! I'd pay $50.

Really Nice Find Robisme!! Congrads.

It's going to ' look outstanding ' on the wall behind your Sansui !!! :)

Shucks, mine doesn't have the blue antenna. Staple looks original, so I don't think it's been removed.
Quite a coincidence, I just got this (with other Sansui stuff) about a month ago. Didn't look twice at the antenna until I saw this thread,
Very neat.
