Love the Platinum! I can't imagine anything better with my system. The Marantz is so musical and the Grado is so musical, they just work so well together.

Yep, musical is a great way to describe it. I can't even imagine what something like the Master would sound like. At some point I probably will get one.

Your system is a bit more high end than mine. I think I have reached as far as I can without LOTS of upgrades beyond a cartridge. And considering that this is basically a completely different system than my last one (less than four months ago), I don't see myself doing that.

Well it's probably unnecessary for you to upgrade any time soon. Especially since you have synergy, you're set. I can imagine many people being satisfied enough with the Platinum to stop there. I, unfortunately (for my bank account), have a problem.

This is my office turntable...a nice Pioneer PL-55X with the Shure V15 Type IV and a JICO SAS stylus on it. It's a really nice sounding unit once I FINALLY got it set up properly!

Actually the woods grain runs very deep so it looks much dustier then it is. I like the music it produces

I sold it almost 3 years ago. I was a stupid mother#$%!!* to do it and is likely my biggest audio regret.

Wow, that sure looks sturdy. That is definitely a tt/cartridge combo I'd really like to hear, it's got to be good.

Those are some VERY nice TT you have there, of course now I have drool all over my keyboard! I have a Pioneer PL-630 that I've had for nearly 30 years, it's the first real TT I bought. I'll post a picture when the film gets developed. (We are still old school with cameras, Nikon FG).
