Goldring GR 1.2 modified with 1012GX MM cart & real wood plinth.
NICE! :thmbsp: Gotta love the look of the tubes and wires underneath it's shelf.
Not like I can follow that up too well, but here goes nothing...
My main turntable, an AR XB. Mostly stock, except for having had the arm rewired and the headshell socket refitted/reglued (twice!) by Joel Thorner last spring (he did beautiful work; a shame we lost him :sigh

, the stock wiring harness replaced with RadioShack gold cable (well, except for the original ground wire, which I've routed into the left channel connector's shell), and a Shure M97xE cartridge fitted in place of the original(?) Shure M91ED. Have it sitting on a set of Audio-Technica spring-feet, to try and deaden the vibrations transferred to it by the wooden floor my stereo cabinet sits on top of. All in all, an awesome-sounding turntable.
My former main turntable, a Technics SL-1301. Has had numerous issues, including an intermittent issue with the quartz lock circuitry (when it pops it's ugly head every once in awhile, it causes the platter to speed up, then slow down, several times a minute), the right front suspension being largely ineffective (not much spring to it, regardless of how it's adjusted; when I got it, all four suspension adjustment nuts were screwed down tight), and a bit of distortion to the audio when playing (likely needs a new needle). Other than that, it's an excellent piece of equipment, at least when it's working...
