The Sansui SR-838 tonearm is a really good one! Wide spaced offset pivot bearings.:thmbsp:

just picked up this Kenwood KD-5077 with Pickering XSV-3000 cartridge installed..50 bucks..completely working, and very happy with the sound from this little bugger!!

That is a great vintage Pickering MM cart, if it has a decent or NOS matching Pickering stylus with brush you will spend a lot of money before you throw that cart to the curb. :yes: .. Awesome deal just for cart and stylus. You did good :thmbsp: there are several different Pickering stylus that will fit that cart IIRC.

I have my Dad's vintage Pickering XUV/D4500Q Quadrahedral (shibata) a bit more detailed sounding stylus. IIRC a D3000 Stereohedron fits it. The down side(other then cost) of playing stereo Lp with a Quad D4500Q is they are picky about alignment, a protractor is a must for best results. Call Kevin at KAB, he knows all the different stylus that will fit your Pickering cart. You can get a $25.00 Pfanstiehl elliptical stylus (Ebay)for garage sale LP and save that rare D3000. Enjoy the music Awesome deal you found.
