The move to the new server is done. There are some software and database maintenance updates in process. This has us passing the hat around to help out. We appreciate any donations. Seriously, even a dollar helps. The payment page may be found here - https://www.audiokarma.org/support.html
I got tired of my all black plinth on the Lenco so I did a maple wrap between the bevels to match the arm boards. I got the maple from the same friend that gave me the arm boards. The kewl thing is this tree was cut down on his fathers property, rough cut and aged for a year and cut into boards. Corner caps are walnut.
I know I'm safe here but good grief there are some unbelievable decks in this thread!!
Here is my finally acquired dream secondary deck for basement man-cave. I have been looking for one of these for over a year now. I finally found one - just got it back from the local audio hospital for a complete once over, cleaning, function adjusting and install of the Shure V 15 Type III cart that was looking for a new home - found this cart with 30 hours on it a few months ago - it has a new home!!
Wow, you all have some super nice tables. Most of you have some really nice vintage tables compared to mine which is newer I guess.
I'm new to vinyl and today is my first day listening to vinyl on my Technics SL-1210M5G.

My table has had a few more changes since the last time I posted. I swapped my 9" arm for a used Classic arm with Discovery wiring directly through VPI. I added HR-X feet and a new Soundsmith cart. This is definitely the last iteration of this table. No more table changes unless I can figure out a way to afford a Classic 3 in rosewood.
I am not a great photographer nor do I have a great camera, and this never comes out quite like I want it to...but I wanted to get a nice shot with the dust cover. Best I could do...
I was given this Micro Seiki DD-35 by a friend of family. Along with it came a Grace F-8C with a (slightly) bent stylus that I'm going to have rebuilt.
