Post a picture of your turntable

Yeah , a Dual base. I'll take better pics this weekend after some sanding & staining those patches

A Home Depot cork planter mat :D -- Works well IMO and helps the VTA

Thanks... I'm gonna' check it out and see. I've got the VTA about where it's supposed to be, but I had to improvise (Borrowed the rubber mats from 2 other tables, one being an old, flat Technics for the top, and I sandwiched a record in between, and it gives me a good 3-record height). It works though, and actually doesn't look half-bad (Technics made nice mats with hard, dense rubber). Between that and finding the sweet-spot for the antiskate with each cartridge, it's really helped pull this table into shape.

Here is my Pioneer PLC-1700 with custom tonearm board and a Jelco 750E 10" tonearm. It runs through a modified Parts Connexion PS Audio Pre with Crystal Cable interconnects.. Right now I am using a beautiful Sony 7065 receiver for power. I have turned into a vintage Sony lover :music: Love this Pioneer though.

Did you re-veneer the plinth?

Here ya go!

Nothing special but, I did have it reconditioned through the needle doctor and it plays well.

TT was an experiment in using laminates of varying densities to decouple vibration and noise. Motor (Linn) is mounted to ply that is inside a box of balsa that is held in cutout in the top layer by silicone rubber.
Top layer is glued to lower layers with a thick rubber type glue. Bearing is Teres and platter was turned from 25mm acrylic by a local machine shop. Arm is an Acos GST-1 that my father bought in the 70s and still sounds superb. Cart is the 2M Black.
