Yes, an TA-5650, restored that about 2 years ago, and that is sitting next to a PS-8750.

:thmbsp: nice looking TT. I noticed the tone on it looks just like the one on my Pioneer PL-518X.:scratch2: Vinylengine mod suggested I use a Stevenson protractor.

Here's my Nottingham Interspace.
It's sporting the heavy platter upgrade and Anna arm.
I've added the Phoenix Engineering Falcon PSU and accompanying Tach unit which monitors the speed and automatically makes adjustments as varitions are detected.
The cartridge currently is a Transfiguration Temper Supreme.

What a beauty. Was speed accuracy an issue prior to getting the Falcon PSU though?

Not to my knowledge, but it sure isn't now.
As I understand this, it has more to do with the incoming power from the wall and its voltage and frequency accuracy and how it relates to turntable speed.
I had demo's the Walker Audio Motor Controller and thought it was nice, but at $1900.00 for it versus $600.00 and some change for the Falcon set up, complete with interelating tachometer, it was an easy decision.
The Falcon is completely U.S. made as well. I even got to talk with Bil, the founder of Phoenix Engineering about my application and he is very accessible and willing to help. He's got a great product.

Yup, happy falcon PSU owner here as well, it was a pretty noticeable upgrade for me, my table had some well documented issues with speed accuracy. So the falcon was pretty important to my setup and I'm glad I have it now. Part of me wishes the table had better accuracy to begin with but that's a dicussion for another thread...
Nice. Definitely want to change out those diodes before they eat the unobtanium VFET devices. Have had both those pieces in the past and should have held on to one of them. You might be interested in posting them here: http://www.audiokarma.org/forums/showthread.php?t=52651&page=242. Also, member 'Stoffie' is a Sony VFET owner/collector located in Belgium. You'll find some pic's of some of his gear throughout the thread I've referenced.

Thank you. Truth be told there are some cosmetic flaws that show up, the top plate in particular. I should have spent more time on it.
But the sounds is what matters, and Marc did all the heavy lifting on that. The mat is one of Marc's deer hide mats.

Thanks, all those issues were addressed during the Restoration, diodes, pots, caps and what not :yes:
