Post a picture of your turntable

Sorry I can't provide "first hand comparative info" as I have not owned/listened to the Ortofon cartridges, or for that matter your table/system/room.

I can say that, with my system:

Imaging is excellent.

Surface noise is non-existent on new or clean/mint/excellent records.

As far as inner groove distortion, tracking etc…. I think that is more a function of installation and set up rather than inherent in the cartridge/stylus design. Set up and adjustment with this Table/Cartridge was straight forward and easily accomplished.

Some of my less than mint albums do have some pops and clicks, but for me they seem to disappear into the music and are not annoying or in many cases even noticeable.

With my system: [ Musical Surroundings Phenomena II / Jolida 302B (GL KT77s) / SpeakerLab 6s]….. I could not be more pleased and don't have any inclination to "keep searching". From here on out my audio $$$ will be spent on music and my audio time on listening and enjoying.

Here are a couple of mine. Just moved on a Technics SL-10/310 MC and a Pioneer PL-670.

Currently have a Marantz 6200/ Denon DL-110 in my main system:

Just got this new baby a couple days ago.

I actually ordered this Pioneer on eBay but I got the JVC before the Pioneer arrived.
I cleaned and lubed the mechanism (so much easier with electronic arm on the JVC cuz no lubrication and cleaning is needed).
Also, used suspension tables are so pain in the ass. Most of them have the rubber grommets over the springs rotted out causing oscillation. I ended up using some foam tape wrapped around the springs to act as dampers. These rubber grommets are hard to find.

Sanyo TP-1020A - Freebie rescue from a basement. Turned out to be literally mint. Right now has an M97xe on it.

Technics SL-5 - Another cheap pickup. Bought it because I missed my old SL-7. AT92E cart. In nice shape but won't play 45's.

Sanyo TP-600SA - Can't really call this one mine anymore. I put a Grado Black on it and gave it to my parents.

Thorens TD-124 II in the stable.

Picked this up last night.
