my updated vinyl setup (see attached picture):
* pro-ject rpm 5.1 turntable (with its standard record clamp)
* tizo-acryl 38mm acrylic platter
* ortofon 2m bronze cartridge
* pro-ject speedbox se ii
* pro-ject ground-it deluxe 2 base
* not shown: cover-it 2 dust cover (too much glare & reflection)
p.s.: wondering if i should replace the stock phono interconnects that came with the tt with after-market ones.
p.p.s.: as i said before, i don't have an oracle delphi, contrary to what my avatar shows -- 'could never afford it.

my newest addition to the stable. A Lenco L70 retrieved from a life at the garbage dump, which is where it was going when I found it. It was all stock with some scratched, which didn't matter because the mechanical portions was all I required. I used Padauk wood in an open plinth design, and an Ortofon SPU GM Mono cartridge, mounted to a 14" custom SME3014 arm by Radgear. A double platter will materialize once I find a second platter.

Here is my GT 750 with new veneer, polished platter and new aluminum feet. I kept it close to stock color, but with a slight twist. It was ebony veneer with four coats of ebony stain. I have not applied any clear coat as I quite like the Matt finish.
PS can some one tell me how to embed as I cannot seem to make these pictures bigger. Thanks

Both the Lenco 70 of guystp and the Yamaha GT-750 of ateal are very nicely done. Labors of love and am sure it is the way you feel about their sound. Great work.

Very nice work, and gorgeous table. To embed the pics there is a link on photobucket to the right of the pic "IMG" that when clicked- it will copy the link then you simply paste it on your post.
