New edition to the turntable family.
JVC ql-y5f with an Ortofon 2m Bronze, quietest table I've owned and a really nice sound coming from the 2m bronze so far, hopefully gets better with the break in period.

Pro-Ject Essential II with Ortofon 20. I'm using a DiscWasher mat which seems to tame static better than the stock felt mat. The LP is "Steve Miller Band - Greatest Hits 1974-1978."

I have same project. Changed from a Grado Gold cart to Grado woodbody Reference Platinum 1.
The improved sound was remarkable, down side = any scuffs or scratch also enhanced.
