Saturday got running my Kenwood KP-990 with Transi-Fi Terminator linear arm. Wanted it for about 3 years. Best tracker of any table I've had the chance to use (not a huge quantity, but still...)

Thanks! It was quite an effort to get it to this point. I'll repost a couple of comments I made from elsewhere to give you a feel of how well it is working out:
"I'm listening to a rare record right now from Latin America that I bought about 15 years ago that is pressed off center pretty bad. Looks like 1 to 1 1/2 mm variance or so. On any other table I tried it on the pitch would change as the record spun. Playing perfectly now, first time I've ever been able to listen to it actually."
"I did another stress test today. I have a psych reissue that has some issue with the pressing. They cut it pretty loud and on my old table and cartridge is skipped constantly (whereas all my records besides this one, played fine). The record looks mint. My assumption is during the loud peaks, not compressed at all, the groove walls must be thin, impinging on the adjacent groove, causing it to skip easily at these spots. Well the whole record played just fine today except just one skip in the 40 minutes. I could hear a little bit of crackle on a few spots where I'm sure it skipped before easily."

Just an AT3600... I had some issues with sound that I was trying to get figured out but now that that is fixed i'll be looking for an upgrade on it. But I mean for now I'm just happy that it's all come together and playing without flaw... what do you have on yours?
