Post a picture of your turntable

Here is a picture of one of my Technics SL-1100A's. I have two of these 40 year old tables. It's kind of big. It actually makes the reciever look small and that is a big SX-1250 sitting underneath it.

nope, in fact, to be brutally honest, i hate it. character designs look like crap. what can i say? i'm just your average humble otaku anime nerd.:music:

Here's some anime Simpsons with the original pic for comparison.:thmbsp: Also an anime pic of Futurama. I have no idea where I got these.

And here's the purple monster. It is much more purple than the picture implies. I'm working on an upgrade.

Does that thing play records or attack you lol.:D

================

A magnificent piece of technology!

Only from the warped minds of Basis!

The only other turntable I've seen that looks this outrageous is the Goldmund Reference (the older one....they have a redesigned Reference now).

Wow. That's the exact way I feel about all anime. It's like watching never ending reruns of Speed Racer.

How come nobody ever has lips in anime?

Their mouths are tiny when closed and ridiculously large when open! Gotta love the blue hair!

back on topic, here are some pics of the second of my two TD-124s along with some pics of my ROK that are also shown in the ROK specific stickied thread.

Columbia

From the folks that brought you the LP in the first place, a very early TT, plays 33 1/3 only.

Anyone want to loan me some of their rare 180G vinyl to try on it?? :scratch2:

The supermassive and huge Sony PSE-4000 with SME 3012. A complete diverse philosophy to the Transrotor AC+ nearby.

Happy tt-ing,

Philco

Another one from the dawn of Vinyl, this is a Philco circa 1949-50, plays 33 1/3 only, it features a fantastic streamlined Bakelite case, rim drive and auto start and stop via Mercury switches.

I converted this one to a modern stereo cartridge that tracks much lighter than the 5-7 grams it originally was designed for.

Hitachi

This is a Hitachi direct drive,, bought new by me in 1980 or 81.
It's somewhat battered and bruised but still works fine.
