post yer ugly mug pt.2

Thank you for the complimentary words concerning my S.O. Yes, she's fun to play with, but a LOT less predictable than any of my gear. She is very understanding about my other passions, the one for audio especially. As for the photoshop reference...

Of course it's photoshopped! Still, the altered photo is one taken while we were at that show. Cabo Wabo is one helluva party!

the dog fell asleep like that? :wtf:

Yeh, it looks strange I know, but he's been doing it since he was a pup (a lot smaller). All I have to say is let's take a nap, and he heads to the lazy boy.:D

I hope you're talking about the chick. :D
actually I meant the pose and the way she smiles. but he does look better with a cap

and the way that dog sleeps, too, is cute. Highly unusual, though. I would think that the dog would find lying on its spine uncomfortable.

My son and I on a cold Northern California evening. He's my wild eyed avatar, too.

Wineslob: Your post brought up fond memories of Mendicino. Back in the early 80's, while living in San Jose, my wife and I would vacation there every spring. Neat little town and we stayed in a Victorian bed and breakfast.:thmbsp: Our last visit was probably in 1984.

I remember signs telling folks to not do just what you are doing..."Never turn your back on the ocean". :nono: Apparently large waves could come in without warning.

Here's a shot that arkay took when I met up with him in Hong Kong earlier this year.

I wish there was a store like that around here. I could stay all day in a place like that! What is that place? A home for refurbed vintage gear?

And yes, the mustache is real.
Can't you count. A couple is 2. I see 3. :thmbsp:

I bet they want 1080i, but you won't tell them what it is. They just want it.

Not just one shop; arkay took me to a district in Hong Kong with shop after shop of this kind of stuff; street vendors also. A lot of it is black plastic crap, but there is some good vintage and also nice new high end equipment.
