Wineslob: Your post brought up fond memories of Mendicino. Back in the early 80's, while living in San Jose, my wife and I would vacation there every spring. Neat little town and we stayed in a Victorian bed and breakfast.:thmbsp: Our last visit was probably in 1984.

I remember signs telling folks to not do just what you are doing..."Never turn your back on the ocean". :nono: Apparently large waves could come in without warning.

Terry

I made sure my daughter and wife knew that very, very well!
Where I'm standing Mendo is behind me, across the bay. We stayed in the Mendocino Campground. Great place, hot showers at no charge, and the rates were cheap! Highly recommended.:thmbsp:

Mark, you gotta remember, I'm a little funky with my balance since the accident. I gotta hold on somehow...:D

Hey, as that song "Telephone Man", by Merri Wilson from '77 said so succinctly, "Get it anyway you can..." <grin>

Yep. Seems like she went on to become the Comissioner of Education in her state. Think I read she passed away last year- a sad note.

3 out of 4 gay friends agree: You'd do very, very well selling stereo equipment.

(Ah, the joys of a laptop and Wi-Fi.)

Its time for the not part under your name to be removed. Take a week off to think about what you have said and done. Come back and do it again and your done here.

I'm here somewhere. just be prepared to lose your lunch...

If it makes ya happy there are very few pics of me smiling or without a smoke in my hands. :smoke:

This is me, drunkenly leaning on a lamppost at 3:00 AM, in Guadalajara, MX.

Apparently, when studying abroad, if you are in a group of students who can offer you to locals as a "rich, huge Mexican" (I'm actually an American Indian and decidedly not rich) so as to not get price-screwed like gringos, the tequila goes much further. :smoke:
