Post your photography!!

Ha! Cool :) The above pic is of Floyd, one of our Great Danes. I shot this pic yesterday, he posed nicely for me.

Nevermind, trying to attach a pic from my Photobucket account, not having any luck yet. Can someone please help? PM me. Thanks, John

Left click in the IMG CODE line under your picture at Photobucket then come here to your post, right click then select paste. Like that line from The Shawshank Redemption, "easey peasey Japanesey." :)

Still not working- "invalid file". Is there a max size when linking a pic? Otherwise F it, my patience is running low with technology today.

Ok, let's see if I get this right...

Looking pretty good!

What aperture setting did you use? Try the same exact shot with the aperture opened all the way. It will blur the background futher and pop the foreground more so (depth of field).

:D

You're assuming I actually know what I'm doing eh? :D I have no idea what the aperture was but I'll see if I can get Floyd to sit there again long enough for me to get another shot.

I loaded that pic to Photobucket full size and they automatically resize them to 800 x 600. Try again later, you'll get it :thmbsp:

hey broons- hope you don't mind, but this is kind of what a wider aperture will do for you. i faked it in photoshop- and will delete the file if you don't want me messing with yer dog...

btw- thanks for pointing out photobucket. i never did know how to upload larger pics!

No worries. Feel free to mess with Floyd, both he and I are pretty easy going :D
That affect is pretty cool, gives an almost 3D look to it. depth of Field makes more sense to me now after seeing that :thmbsp:

I suppose it's overly predictable that I take picture of and from the horses. On the last day of our vacation I took some pictures of my wife and daughter from my horse. I put down the reins and steered him with my legs and tried to get his ears in the pics. I like the colors.

Junkyard Desoto

Shot with an old Praktica SLR (don't remember the model) on Ilford Pan-F and scanned into photoshop.

I used to be heavy into model building. This is the last one I built about 10 years ago and its' the last one I still have although the glue is getting very brittle and some pieces are falling off.

I took this picture of my backyard just after a very heavy downpour was almost over.
