Post your photography!!

It's a rainy snowy day. It started gray, then a small thunderstorm and hail. I tried to get some lightning shots but that didn't work out so well. Then rain/sleet, now it's snowing. It's going to get progressively colder over the next day or so, with a low of 4F overnight on Monday.

Saw some frozen drops on the balcony railing/cables. I had to crouch down and could feel my knees screaming while trying to get this shot. Wish it were better, but with the wind and everything it's just not an easy one to get.

And the onslaught begins. 4-8" overnight and into the morning. Not too bad, but combined with the rain/sleet it could make for some nasty driving conditions.

So I was looking at the picture of the cabling on the balcony, and thought, why don't I use one of the pile of macro lenses I have?

Mounted the 90mm on the camera and back out to the balcony.

The wind is pretty obnoxious. All those good intentions go out the window when you're fighting the wind to get a stable shot. Composition is terrible - shouldn't be focusing on the middle. Should have used a tripod and cranked up the depth of field too. I'm a regular example of how not to take pictures today.

About the best I could do. And yes, it is that dreary looking outside presently.
