That is such a pretty part of the world! We have considered at least 3 times moving to that neck of the woods, but alas, it would be unrealistic for me to handle the snow and ice. Love your pics - that's as close as I get these days!

How do you trigger an on-camera strobe to fire more than once during an exposure?

On a flash with a manual trigger button, you can just push the manual button. Godox flashes work like that (as demonstrated by a camera club member).
The Canon flashes of mine have a strobe setting that lets you set the number of flashes per second and the total number of flashes. Then you have to set your shutter speed to long enough to catch all the flashes.

The camera club member who has Godox flashes is going to check if they have a multiple flash setting.

When built and how long abandoned, do you know? Is that a flue pipe for a heating stove?

Sure looks like it. And it doesn't look like it was installed properly.

Yeah looks to be for a woodstove. And yeah looks pretty makeshift.

Don't know how long the house has been abandoned. My guess for construction date would be late 1800s.

"Walk and Shoot" is a great way to get exercize while exercizing your seeing. I just carrry a pocket-sized camera like a CoolPix with me. Nice photos, there Dan!

Took a quick hike up Bald Mt. (also known as Rondaxe Mt.) in the Adirondacks. This is a short 1 mile hike with great views of the Fulton Chain of Lakes. This is a view of Fourth Lake from a ledge along the trail
