power transistor sub for au-919?

I've done some investigation and come up with 2SA1116 and 2SC2607(woodang) as substitutes for the NMA1012/NMC1012. Are these sufficent replacements? Has anyone used them? Thanks, Jim.

Power Transistors AU 919

I know nothing about electronics but do have an invoice from work done on my AU 919 that lists the following: 8 Power Output Transistors MJ15024 / MJ15025.
This doesn't answer your question but my help. I can tell you that I am very happy with this upgraded amp.

Jim I used On-semi MJ21193 MJ21194's as replacements in my 919 with good results, i think outhers have used them also, I'm sure outhers will chime in on this englissa

MJ21193 MJ21194 are good substitutes. Sansui had a note in their substitute list for 2SC2607/2SA1116. See pic

The other advantage of the ON semis is the odds of counterfeits are a lot less. Most of the old Japanese TO-3 transistors have been out of production for many years and the parts purporting to be NOS are fakes.
