Thanks guys that is why I like this site. A lot of great knowledge. So is there any other way or something you can buy if you have only one phono hook up on amp. I have three turntables and two amps with only one phono hook up each. I guess I can hook up two and let the other rest might be the easy and cheap way to do it.

You just need an audio input selector switch – something like this http://www.jaycar.com.au/productView.asp?ID=AC1655 . They are usually available at many electronics stores, either as audio, or audio/video selectors. Plug 3 turntables in, and the output into your amp's phono input, and select the required turntable with the switch.

I use a JVC JX-300 A/V switcher for a similar application. It has a remote control so you can switch between sources from your listening position and it is dead quiet on the switching.
