The best concert I ever saw was Earth Wind and Fire probably 1977 or 1978. Maurice got in a cube on stage, was raised up in the air, and turned into a tiger. Just a great show. RIP.

EW&F was before my time, but I have fond memories of some of their hits being played on my parent's stereo system via soft rock FM stations when I was a little kid. And I do have some of their albums now, being as I began to get into soul/funk/rb a few years ago.

OMG.....RIP Mr White. I grew up with your music. Head To The Sky was one of the first albums I bought. All n All remains one of my all time fav albums. I was blessed to be able to see EW&F live 7x over the past 35yrs.

May he rest in peace. I had the pleasure of seeing this band 16 times, 13 with Maurice at the helm, each time was a unforgettable concert. The very best all is what I have to say about him and this band, Just the very best.
