Rare Albums

Theophilus Punoval

The Queen says it's OK...
There are a lot of rarities out there and you might even say that LP rarities aren't rare.

I had a clear vinyl copy of "No Deposit, No Return" by Tuli Kupferberg of The Fugs and a promo copy of "Sanders Truckstop" by Ed Sanders, also of The Fugs, or, as they are called in Italy, Gli Fugs.

I'm sure there's a wierdo or two in your collection. Howzaboutit??

I've got a picture disk of the How Grinch The Stole Christmas, and haven't been able to find a single mention of it on the web.. Does that make it rare?

overwhelmed by debt

I love Capt. Beyond what a shame Rod Evans left and disappeared off the face of the Earth.
over a law suit from the original Deep Purple band. Evans went on the road as Deep Purple when he was the only member from the original band and was sued. He lost and owed over 650,000 dollars so he was dropped from any royalties from the bands first three albums. he left the music business and went into seclusion.:smoke:

I have the green vinyl version of Green On Red's "Gas, Food, Lodging". I have the Styx "Paradise Theater" with the laser art etched right onto the vinyl. I still have the brown paper bag on my Led Zeppelin "In Through The Out Door" album. (Does that count?)

Unobstructed Universe

Ray Gomez "Volume"

A 10" Cheap Trick called "Found all the Parts"

The Beatles "Hey Jude" (might not be THAT wierd)

I have Styx first album with the original cover, and a Carlin album called "Take Offs and Put Ons"
