Do you have any idea what the real value of the Malibu are?

Not to be a wise ass, but this auction will in one sense determine just that.

Now i'm not a complete idiot(some would argue), so i understand that the size and shipping makes these out of the question for many of us. And that fact alone many times keeps auctions for items like this from actually reaching their current value, putting folks within local pickup distance at an advantage.

Suddenly, today, my bid has been cancelled! I emailed the seller to find out why. This is weird and scary. I don't know what the hell is happening, but I don't like it....

Anybody have this experience before?

I AM SO PISSED OFF!!!I just posted in another thread what the problem was. I am out of the bidding on the Altecs. My checkered past has caught up with me. My bid has been cancelled by the seller. I am a bit depressed now. I've really been shafted by the ebay system. It is totally unfair, and there seems as if there's nothing I can do about it. Total 'bummah'

Well, I guess the moderator removed that post, so I'll need to re-explain it here.

In Feb '05 I bid $35.00 on a Sony MD Walkman. I accidentally typed in $3,500.00. The seller gave me negative feedback when I refused to pay the amount I 'committed' to. I thought the problem was over with, I had sent emails to ebay to explain my mistake, but their 'system' seems to be deaf.

Is there a used Sony MD walkman worth $3,500.00?? Or is there a greedy leech somewhere in Canada who would besmirch someones good standing because of a typo?
