Rectilinear Mini Three Crossover

The Mini-III has a very good reputation as far as I can tell, but they are rare and I only know of one or two owners here on AK. Hopefully, he will post soon. In the mean time, if you can post a close-up photo of the x-over, that would help, too.

Well, I have a pair of Mini III's, but I'm afraid I'm of no help in determining the value of the caps. I've attempted to remove the grills to see what's going on inside, but I've been unsuccessful so far........those damned things are really on there, and there doesn't seem to be any give anywhere. I've felt for staples but have been unable to find any. Again, I apologize for the lack of help. :tears:
Mini Three Crossover
The front grilles are nailed on. You have to carefully pry the grille off to get to the drivers. The only way to get to the crossover is to take the woofer out. The control panel on the back is glued in place. Thanks for trying to help, but I really don't expect anyone to dismantle their speakers.

So the baffle isn't just screwed to the cabinet, as it is on the fullsize Model III? I would like to get a photo of the x-over as that might help, but if the baffle does not come off, even getting a decent photo of it might be a challenge.

I have no clue what the values of those caps may be: "XMC" and "XTC-M". I'm sending them to a friend to measure them. Hope he can get accurate values.

here is some info on the Rectilinear Mini III caps:
The large cap [XMC] measures about 87 uf and the little one [XTC-M] is about 1.8uf. The Rectilinear IIIs (not Minis) used 2.0 caps so that may be the intended value. It appears that DF is the same as an equivalent modern npe, so it is entirely possible they are still within spec.
