I never quit buying them.
then again, I'm weird.
I have both lps and cds room for booth!Still my choice for recorded music.
I still buy a new album once in a while too , but CD's have overrun me .I have both lps and cds room for booth!

I wish I were there. I would've packed all of them into my truck bed.+! on CD -- still listen to .... never gave up on CD's -- today was lucky at the dump - they had 3 huge trays full of CD's - take whatever you want ... no time to surf through 100's of CD's, so I just grabbed about 15 - no idea what I would get , but now am enjoying Grover Washington, Jr. "Winelight" from 1980 --- has been so long since I heard this ... a total rediscovery with better gear... and the physical thing is even more true with vinyl which is always fun to touch ..
Certain things are better on cds others on lps. Like them both nothing like owning a hard copy! The most likely utube wont always be free ! And I’m to cheap for a streaming sevice !I still buy a new album once in a while too , but CD's have overrun me .![]()
I'm not really seeing this "revival" thing play out as there are so many places that I've been to recently with CDs at bottom dollar prices and then plenty of folks who apparently feel that they're so worthless that they are just giving these things away.
