Was digging in the stash and found Roxy music.been years forgot I had it,not my type of rock music,but put it on and dam I like it.the
Songs are all quite good,I remember them from the mtv days.

One of my favorite Roxy Music/ Bryan Ferry songs.
I watched it once on MTV on a little tv in my family's kitchen.
When I was visiting during the holidays, 40 years ago.

Love the song, not so much the video.
Briefly there is a pretty blonde with a gap in teeth, dancing.
She seared into my brain. Reminds me a girl from another life time.

I was a HUGE Roxy Music Fan - saw them a few times over the years (Country Life; Manifesto, the Avalon Tour, a 2000 tour, and 2 Ferry solo tours,
but sadly, the 50th anniversary tour was mid-Pandemic, and I wasn't going into a huge sports arena at the time for anything.
Plus big concrete venues are not my preferred place for music concerts - hurts my ears.
Plus, I think Brian has mostly retired these days ... I know Andy MacKay (the sax player) has.



Big fan of their guitar hero - Phil Manzanera. Great player ... lotsa good albums and other bands too.
He also played in David Gilmour's touring band for 10 years or so!

Mr. Ferry had an album released last year.

Yes, tho I did like his "As Time Goes By" album (1999), and saw the tour for that,
I haven't cared for the newer Orchestra stuff - The Gatsby album or the BFO,
frankly, I didn't care for much after Dylanesque (2007).
It all seemed weak to me after all his earlier material ...

Never a great fan of Bryan Ferry, but I admire him for being successful despite not having much of a voice, some popular boy bands of the nineties had worse and were equally as successful.
His live performances were always "watchable," helped in my opinion, by the attractive female backing singers he always chose.
