They are smaller speakers with 8" woofer and tweet

Are they any good? I also need to replace one of the speaker terminals its broken.

anybody?

also what can I use to release the glue from the dust cap andwhat can I use as spacers for the cone when refoaming?

Never heard of them over here in Marietta! WInder must be gettin' all the thrifty goods these days. Best thing for the dust cap is to cut (gently) a nice "X" in it and trim the thing away. Glue a new one in it's place after shimming and gluing the surrounds in. Business cards work great as shims.

I'll double your money on em :)

well if grumpy is going to double my money they gotta be worth something :D

I hooked the one that has two intact speaker terminals and the tweet sounded good. ( i made sure not to turn it up.

I would like to save the original dust cap. I saw a post somewhere that showed a solution that would break down the glue so that you could remove the dust cap.

A model number or pic would be helpful

this pick is borrowed from ebay.

Mine have mini banana posts on the back but look just like these.

I do not see any model number on them.

RSL Nevada Monitors

"RSL" stands for Rogersound Labs, a Southern California speaker maker that sold through their own Company-owned stores, which also sold electronics. They were active from the mid-70's through the mid-80's. Many of us Southern Californians remember them fondly.

The RSL speaker cabinets were "furniture grade" and RSL actually had some of the drivers custom made. I have a pair of RSL Nevada 12" 4-way Monitors that I'm using with a Concept 16.5 and I am quite satisfied with the sound. Actually, IT'S INCREDIBLE!! But, I'm not sure if it's the RSLs, the 16.5, or the combination of both. Everyone who's heard the combo has been slack-jawed!
:lmao:

Those are RSL "Mini-Monitors", RSL's smallest, most affordable speaker. As I'm sure you'll agree, the construction of the cabinets is pretty heavy duty for a small speaker. You can just imagine what the bigger ones are like! My Nevedas have the same oak veneer cabinets. Very 70's!

I didnt expect them to be as heavy as they were. Thats one reason why I bought them. I figured if nothing else I have a good cabinet to do some transplants.

Since they seem to be getting the thumbs up I will go ahead and refoam the drivers and bring them back to life. Not to back for 4 bucks.
