Hi all

my first post

I have just recieved a "defect" B2101 ...

The deal cost me ... 72,81 EUR 95,44 USD

I was alllowed to get a look inside the amp ... before we settled the deal.
I notice some probs in the left ch. tm 2x bad trimpots, a leaking cap uke:

Now some hours later...

I have concluded, no failure to any of the active devices.
By adjustment, it was possible to "force" the amp to pass below the limit for DC protection :thmbsp:

parts to get:

8x 10µF/63V-
8x 100µF/63V-
2x 220µF/40V-
8x 470µF/63V-

more precision and easy adjustment.
Bourns multiturnpots.
4x 100 Ohm
2x 470 Ohm
4x 1KOhm

A few more details can be improved, But first things...first

The impedance switch on the back of the B-2101 actually switches between 59VAC or 50VAC to the rectifiers of the +-43VDC high current power supply.
