Sansui G-7500 one channel dead-headphones 1 side dead also

I would open it up and take a good look around. Be safe of course... let it sit awhile if it's been playing. I recently scored a G-5500 and was surprised to find the notorious Sansui glue problem. That glue that was used to hold down larger components in many models is very corrosive and can eat right through component leads. I'm no tech but I would check the boards very carefully. Check for brown/black dried up glue at the base of capacitors. It often affected nearby resistors or transistors. Search this site for "sansui glue" and you'll find lots of advice.

Certainly agree with the previous posts. Could be anything from bad swich contacts, solder joint,,,
Open it up have a look for any stressed components ie, hot spots, charred resistors bulging caps
(receeded outer wrap).

Easiest way to rule in/out switches is with your multimeter.
Set input selector to AUX. Put black probe into left AUX RCA. Red probe pin 2 of connector, see pic.
Repeat for right channel AUX. Red probe pin 5 of connector

The resistance should be about the same +/-20%. A open circuit/no reading indicates time to clean switches.

I would not be expecting it to be one of the outputs as the protection relay is clicking OK after power ON.
So it's probably something minor ie, bad contacts or solder joints
