Hi Sansui fans , I was wondering if any of you happened to own or have own a Tu-317 and either a Tu-5900 and more so a Tu-7900 and a/b'd it with the Tu-317? . I am hooked if at the right price I want more than one vintage tuner .

I owned the 317 and liked it. Very listenable sound, but not very sensitive, so it needs a good (eg strong) signal to avoid hiss. The TU-7900 is a TOTL tuner, just under the famous TU-9900, so I'd imagine it should perform better than the 317. I'll also imagine it'll cost a lot more...
