Come on now, don't be like that. You can be President and Vice President of the Settons Owner's Club.

I'd rather be Treasurer. :D

If you'll get me copies of those Rotel Manuals, I just MAY change my mind (assuming I have one).

My RX-1603 s.m. is a Sams Reproduction that is only a generation or two old. Same for the owner's manual. Here's a RX-1603 nugget. It's 180 watt rating is well known but it does have a full fledged 4 ohm FTC rating of 220 watts per channel. Mighty impressive for 1976.

I think I will hold out for better terms. :D :D :D

Hydralique!!!

hydralique,

if your still out there, welcome to AK and you found
the right place to go,ya know most of the pictures
of obscure setton products look like drawings!
if you have a digital camera some pic's would be
great,working,non-working,we'll love it!
thanks,Mark.

Sure, I can take pics of the turntable. I'm going out of town in two days so it will have to wait until I'm back. I need to take it down off the shelf and measure the belt anyway to see if I can find one using the links posted here. Since it is the only Setton product I own, someone else will have to supply any amp or receiver photos. Funny thing, I was up in my attic this afternoon and found the old shipping box for the turntable, with some cool Setton logo tape still on it!

values goin up!

right on,looking forward to the pic's.Its amazing ,
look how many people have veiwed this thread.
setton turned out to be a very successful company
after all,good day-Mark!

Here is a composite of the Setton separates. Someday...

I'm wondering if the PS 5500 preamp is also a dual design. That would be a perfect match with the dual mono BS 5500.

Sam, you need to cut down and fit to size that pic of the BS-5500 and then put it in your avatar. That would be really cool!!!:thmbsp:

That was a suprise

...to see my AS3300 and TUS600 on the link.
Guess I will take some more pictures of these (and my RS220) as well.
Look for them some time this weekend time permitting.

Yeah, maybe. I don't want to be partial to any of the brands but Setton sure is nice.
