Yes, that's him. I still have this album on...cassette! Always surprises me how many people know the lyrics to this song. Always thought The Digital Underground were under rated. It was a cool band name too. One of Tupac's first video appearance in one of their videos (Same Song).

But he was also a multi instrumentalist and a noted music producer as well.

Great album. The Funkadelic samples are legit. Underwater Rhymes is my favorite, some hilarious lyrics in that one.

Sadly the only DU i own but i always loved this track,i bought this on a whim way back on release when i was buying Eric B and Rakim,Public Enemy and De La Soul 12's.
