Here is an older picture of my bedroom system. I have added a few more things since and changed the EQ.

Seems like you blokes must have more interesting sources of motivation to spend time in your bedrooms than I do! All I got is an alarm clock!

Only just getting started so its nothing special but i'm pretty happy with it considering what i've spent.

Next up will be either an upgrade of the amp (i'm thinking a Marantz 2230B) or adding a sub. Not sure where to even start for a sub though, i'd need something with an active crossover as I dont have a subwoofer out on my amp.

Hmmmm, the systems here are quite impressive. My bedroom system is pretty much my only system. Oh well here goes:

Realistic LAB-395 TT
TEAC T-505 Tuner (A bit crap)
Sony TC-U2 Stereo Cassette
TEAC BX-330 Integrated Amp 35Wpc (Exceeds expectations)
Sony CDP-315 5 CD changer
Some random TEAC speakers which are actually quite good.

I'm close to getting a set of Optimus 5 speakers. Hopefully that pulls through, then I'll be after a better tuner.

EDIT:
DANG! Those Optimus 5's just fell through.

Just took this photo last night. Added the Nakamichi CR-5A here lately:
Yamaha CA+CT810, TC-520, Teac 2300s, the Nak CR-5A, pair of Polk Model 10's and a Pioneer DT-500

OH NOW I GET IT... it's an automated CD storage system...
When you hook it to your laptop, do you use the USB or is it RS232?

The MC275 on top of the rack has been replaced with an MC2000 McIntosh.
There's a Levinson 380S preamp, 390S CD player, the active crossover/servo controller for the Infinity IRS-Betas and on the bottom is a Levinson ML-3 that powers the Beta woofer columns.

The second pic shows the Rack and the IRS-Betas.

Best,

Paul :thmbsp:

Glad I am not the only one with a loaded night table! :thmbsp:

Whoa!..talk about near-field listening...:D
Nice!
Thanks... the Polks do more nicely near-field than I thought any 'large' speaker would. I do wish I would have found 7's when I got the 10's but they were a deal.
Glad I am not the only one with a loaded night table! :thmbsp:
Wasn't planned that way but I just can't stop....I just hope I'm getting close.
