One day I may find one I can Afford.
Nice system.

My 15's had a long winter, they got together and dropped a pair of 10 inch puppies. The 15s are driven by a 555, and the 10s are driven by a 535II.

If I happen across a pair of 12s, these 10s will be ejected. I can get the exact same pair of 15s off of marketplace right now, but the guy wants 1500CAD.

I paid 500 for mine.. and 250 for the 10s. Not worth it to me at this moment..

I might pull my rig out of the rack and put it under my TV because I like to look at them lol..

A bit dusty..

Since I picked up a new Belles Signature preamp, all of my speaker collection is new again. I put out my Emerald Physics CS2 speakers. I’ve a MiniDSP 2x4HD handling the crossover duties. A Hafler XL-600 is driving the four 15” woofers, and ARC D400 drives the horns. Two prior owners had not a clue how to run them. I stole em. :)

The most beautiful thing I’ve ever heard.

Some very nice setups shown! Always nice to see what others are using, and how it’s set up! Here are a couple of mine, same room but different set up. First one with Croft Acoustics pre/amp, Holbo TT, Lindemann Network2, Duevel Venus Omnis. The next is Denon 3000NE series amp, cd, turntable, Innuos Zen Mk2, Duevel Venus Omnis. Both setups very enjoyable!

I set this up last night.. had to try everything together.. it was just too much..

Too much.jpeg

But right now I am back to this.. these speakers need to breathe with these amps.. and its still a bit tight in my space.. I do have the covers on though.. recycled the pic..

Bottom to top:
Marantz CD5004
Technics ST-9600 tuner
APT Holman preamp (one of the best)
KLH Burwen noise eliminator TNE 7000A
ADC Sound Shaper 30
Audioproz out of Massachusetts has fixed/aligned anything that has needed love.

This is the pride and joy. A very modified Empire 598II mounted in a 1.25” thick absolute black granite base with a Jelco SA-750D tone with a Grado Master 4 mounted to it.

The speakers, Wharfedale Super Lintons, are the newest things in the setup.

Not shown is the Adcom GFA 545II amp which is making it all work.

Just finished up another restoration in a mint pair of 901 series IV. Using an extremely powerful AR D400 amp, Belles Signature dual mono preamp. When driven by a good power source, they are a wonderful speaker to hear. This is my 5th pair. Just needed new surrounds. Mint finish, tulip stands and EQ for $200.
